Style Guide

This is a style guide for the Pacific Arts Movement. I created this layout as a guideline for designing layouts that use the organization logo. In addition, I added elements that can and can not be used in their design layouts.

Web Ad/Banner Graphic

This graphic is a Web Ad used for the home page for the Non Profit organization Pacific Arts Movement. The goal of the advertisement is to grab the attention of users and purchase a membership to the organization. Since this was a graphic meant for the holidays, I illustrated the organization logo on a present, and added the illustrated snowflakes.

Print Advertisement

Chinese-new-year-fair-ad

This is a printed ad that will be displayed in the San Diego Chinese New Year Food and Cultural Fair. The ad had to be in black and white for the Fair program booklet. I also had to use a limited number of typefaces and no photos because of the lower print quality for the booklet. The target audience for the ad are people interested in a contemporary, sleek film festival. This is why I used a serif typeface to bring out this look.

These are a few examples of Photo Retouching I did for a professional photographer shooting under less than optimal conditions. Using my expertise I was able to touch up the photos and make the necessary corrections to produce a good photo. This was a photo session for a couple expecting their first child.

Web Ad Graphic

Web Advertisement header graphic for the web site home page of the Pacific Arts Movement. This advertisement was to promote membership to the non-profit organization Pacific Arts Movement. The goal was to create something simple and elegant with a touch of the holidays. By using the red and white colors with the corporate logo I was able to accomplish this goal.

Typographic Logos

Various typographic logos for several foundations and organizations. All of these logos were used for website purposes. The organizations were sponsors for the San Diego Asian Film Festival.

Facebook Cover Photo

This is a cover photo meant to be used as the header for social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter. I did not take the initial photo. I retouched and corrected the photo. I added the company logo to the backdrop, which was not originally there. I also had to crop and level out the photo.
